Cyberjaya, Malaysia – [November 27, 2024] – Skyvast Corporation has formalized a strategic Co-Innovation Alliance with Xiong’an New Area and Cyberview Sdn Bhd, establishing a pivotal collaboration between two national technology hubs — Cyberjaya in Malaysia and Xiong’an in China. The alliance aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation in artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, and smart city development, accelerating innovation and regional integration across Asia.
The signing ceremony, held at RekaScape, Cyberjaya, brought together high-level representatives from both nations. The Chinese delegation included Mr. Li Dongliang, Level (II) Counsel of Hebei Province; Mr. Yu Guoyi, Vice Director of the Xiong’an New Area Management Committee; and Mr. Zheng Weili, Vice General Manager of Fujian China International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Representing Cyberview Sdn Bhd were Dato’ Romli Ishak, Chairman, and Kamarul Ariffin, CEO. Skyvast Corporation was represented by Group Chairman Mr. Shawn Tanand Mr. Lim Chee Siong, CEO of Skyvast Data, who signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
Uniting National Innovation Hubs
The Xiong’an–Cyberjaya Co-Innovation Alliance marks a significant step in linking Malaysia’s and China’s national digital ecosystems. This collaboration is designed to facilitate joint efforts in developing sovereign AI infrastructure, enabling trusted data exchange, and deploying next-generation technologies that will support smart cities, cloud services, and digital economies. It also sets the stage for bilateral initiatives in R&D, infrastructure investment, and policy alignment around data governance and AI deployment.
